Where It All Began

in a year filled with economic challenges and major shifts in the business world, a small idea was born — fueled by big passion.

 What started as a hobby — a simple love for the art of marketing and a desire to create something different — soon grew into something more.

 That’s when the first team came together and carefully chose their name: “First Mover.”
 Because they wanted to be the first to act — and the first to inspire.

2017

The Year of Determination

The team decided it was time to take a bigger step, one that would set their path in motion with confidence and stability.

 Soon, the first fruits began to appear — marked by the signing of the very first contracts that opened doors to trust and collaboration.
That same year, First Mover launched its first digital identity with the debut of its official website — and the dream began its journey to the world.

 The team realized that great success begins with bold and creative ideas.
During this time, First Mover embraced a remote-work model — operating 90% virtually — and unveiled a refreshed brand identity along with the launch of the second version of its website, reflecting the company’s evolving vision and renewed ambition.

2019

The Year of Preparation

It was the year of preparation for a greater future — a year full of movement and strategic steps.
First Mover successfully launched its first investment round, opening doors to new opportunities and empowering the company to expand with confidence.

 Along with it came a wave of new contracts — marking the beginning of a grand journey that had long been waiting to unfold.

2020

The Year of the Pandemic

When the pandemic struck the world, First Mover kept moving forward — proving that true success never stops, no matter the circumstances.

 Amid remote work and global uncertainty, the company continued to grow and attract exceptional talent across diverse fields.
During this time, First Mover also joined the IAEE (International Association of Exhibitions and Events), strengthening its presence on the international stage.

 And with the launch of the third version of its website, the company continued its evolution — delivering an enhanced experience for clients and visitors alike.

2021

The Year of Achievement

An exceptional year in First Mover’s journey — one that embodied local growth and marked the beginning of a global expansion.

On this year, First Mover achieved a remarkable milestone by winning the project for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, becoming part of a national story that shared the Kingdom’s vision and future with the world.

The company also achieved its revenue target — surpassing expectations with a 400% growth milestone, marking a defining chapter in its success story. The year concluded with a bold strategic move: an acquisition and investment in other ventures, setting the stage for an even greater future ahead.

2022

The Year of Expansion

It was a year filled with the aroma of Saudi coffee — a year that carried the essence of authenticity and growth.
 During this time, First Mover expanded its horizons by launching a dedicated Event Project Management division, marking a new step toward excellence and full integration in delivering large-scale on-ground experiences.

The company continued to shine at Expo 2021 Dubai, contributing to a project that later earned the Gold Award, a testament to the quality, creativity, and professionalism of its work. First Mover also took part in the Creative Summit, standing among the region’s top innovators and showcasing its impact in the evolving landscape of communication and modern marketing. In celebration of the Year of Saudi Coffee, the company led a series of activations across the Kingdom and abroad — culminating at Matal Al-Bujairi, surrounded by the aroma of hospitality and the spirit of storytelling.

At the same time, First Mover organized the Gamers8 event at Boulevard Riyadh City, proving its ability to manage massive, youth-driven experiences with creativity and energy.

The year concluded on a proud note, as the Riyadh Chamber honored First Mover during its Annual Business Community Ceremony as one of the distinguished supporters.
To crown it all, the company also signed a media sponsorship agreement with the IAEE, continuing its journey of success both locally and globally.

2023

The Year of Expansion

A year in which Saudi creativity shone on the international stage. First Mover continued its outstanding presence at major global events, with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha winning multiple international awards, including the Gold Muse Award, LIV Award, and the French Gold Award for Interior and Architectural Design, in addition to the Silver Award for Self-Built Pavilions. The company also achieved a Guinness World Record for the largest outdoor screen display, while the Saudi Pavilion welcomed over 1.8 million visitors.

Locally, First Mover reinforced its leading role by delivering more than 28 Farmers Markets across the Kingdom, in addition to The Desert Truffle Festival, providing Artistic Direction for the Riyadh Chamber, and completing the strategy for IP Clinics (Intellectual Property Clinics) affirming that excellence is not a single achievement, but a continuous way of working.

2024

The Year of Impact

A year in which First Mover strengthened its presence as a force that makes a difference across diverse fields.

The year began with a significant achievement: developing the visual identity of COP16, officially adopted by the United Nations, establishing a clear impact on the international stage.

The company also continued to support culture and creativity by delivering the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission’s first participation at the Riyadh International Book Fair, followed by its second participation at the Jeddah International Book Fair.

In sustainability, First Mover delivered the Rangelands Sustainability Festival for the National Center for Vegetation Cover Development and Combating Desertification, and organized more than 20 Farmers Market events across different regions of the Kingdom, continuing its journey of creating real impact that can be seen and felt.

2025

The Year of Transformation

Between our work for the Kingdom’s Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka, a pavilion that earned multiple international awards and highlighted Saudi Arabia’s strong global presence, and the expansion into other landmark projects, this year became a pivotal moment in First Mover’s journey. It reinforced our role in shaping major experiences, showcased our ability to deliver fully integrated projects at the highest standards, and created tangible impact that goes beyond execution to inspire. 2025 was truly a year of transformation and continued achievements.
